Xshell is a secure, robust terminal emulator developed by Netsarang. Connections can be made securely through it with several different methods, including SSH and DSA/RSA keys. Additionally, all data sent and received is encrypted. Once you are connected to a server, you have many options for running commands that are enhanced by features of Xshell. The emulator is updated regularly, bringing you new features, updated security, and new protocols as they become available.

For an administrator or anyone who needs to run multiple scripts in different sessions or terminals, Xshell is an ideal emulator. It has several different display options, such as having multiple tabs you can go between to see different connections. Another useful display option is to split the screen, so you can see the output of multiple terminals at the same time. Input redirection is also implemented, allowing the same commands to be sent to different terminals all at once. Kerberos centralized authentication is supported, which is convenient for companies that may need to use multiple systems simultaneously.

The terminal supports multiple scripting languages, including JavaScript, Python, and VB Script, for automating repetitive tasks. IPv6 and IPv4 are both supported. Additionally, it uses UTF-8, so it is possible to use characters from various languages as needed. Adjustment to language settings on your computer may be necessary for them to display properly.

The free version of Xshell can be downloaded either for evaluation or for personal or educational purposes. You cannot use the free version for a business.
